Pressestimmen zu »NODES | KESHARIM« in Graz

Zum Konzert mit dem Ensemble Zeitfluss am 7. Mai 2018 im Grazer Minoritensaal erschien ein Bericht von Felix Jureček in der Kronen Zeitung. Das Konzert fand im Rahmen des Festivals tonraum21 statt, welches vom KULTUM. Zentrum für Gegenwart, Kunst und Religion in Graz ins Lebe gerufen wurde.

Kulturverbindender Klangtaumel

Überhaupt zeitigt der spürbare Fokus auf sinnliche Instrumentationen den ganzen Abend über erstaunliche Ergebnisse: Während Roman Pawollek surreale Szenenbilder malt, in denen schwellende Hörner flirrende Flöten jagen, setzte Ziv Cojocaru in „Whence Comest Thou, Wither Wilt Thou Go“ auf impressionistische Effekte: Tremolo-Bläserglanz und eingemente Akkordschnitte lieferten ein regelrechtes Farbenspektakel.

NODES (Hebrew: קשרים | kesharim) is a long-term collaboration between Austria and Israel meant to bring together leading composers, ensembles and members of cultural and academic institutions of both nations. NODES will commence with a concert series in May 2018 with performances in Graz, Vienna, Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Austrian Zeitfluss and Israeli Meitar Ensemble will each present a programme with works by contemporary composers of both countries.
